In case you missed it, we told you a few days back that theFalcons of Nigeria won the African Women Cup of Nation.
But since their return, they haven’t been accorded the welcome of heroes or champions, as we expected.
It started off with the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung saying the girls cannot be paid because he didn’t expect them to win.
And this left us like...
Because really this kind of statement isn’t something you want to hear from your Minister of Sports.
And now the girls cannot take it anymore, so they’re protesting at the National Assembly. So embarrassing!
